Vintage 2009

A great 2009 vintage has found it's way to the winemakers 'shed'. Slightly lower yields than last year of well ripened fruit are undergoing fermentation.

This year's white pinot is being made from 100% MV6 clone and should have a little more 'blush' than past vintages and will be released soon after bottling in mid august.

A good warm season has left us with ripe cabernet, so the 2009 vintage should be one to look for on it's release next year.

We left a row of pinot gris on for an extra 6 weeks this year. We are looking forward to showing off our 'Forgotten Row' late harvest gris at the end of august. Yum!

As an addition to our portfolio, we have taken on a Morello Cherry Dessert Wine. This is made in the traditional manner from morello sour cherries and then fortified with spirit.
